#BaiQi_is_Driving*

These two appeared side-by-side on the Hot Search.
When Shang Guang saw the studio sent him a screenshot of this, he couldn’t help but say, “What a bunch of perverts!”

*Driving (开车) here is an internet slang which refers to a person who makes sexual innuendos.

The apron scene pictures were circulated around even more than the ones from the snow racing segment.
This was just ridiculous!

Actually, many staff members from Xi Chengyun’s studio have never met Bai Qi.

At this moment, they were staring at the BTS snippets.
They couldn’t help but make a call to Shang Guang.
“Shang-ge, about these trending topics… shouldn’t we do something about it?”

Shang Guang couldn’t make up his mind either.

Xi-ge wasn’t here with the crew right now, so he was the only one accompanying Bai Qi.

“I’ll give a call to Xi-ge in a minute,” Shang Guang replied.

“Okay,” the other party felt relieved and ended the call.

Shang Guang put away his phone and turned over to look at Bai Qi.

“Why isn’t Bai Qi asking about Xi Chengyun’s whereabouts? Does he really not care about him?” He started to mutter to himself as he watched him.

Then, when he recalled scenes from the BTS clips, he felt like his entire being was about to split in half.
He really couldn’t tell what Bai Qi was thinking.

Bai Qi noticed Shang Guang’s gaze on him.
“What’s up?” he looked up and asked.

Shang Guang shook his head.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

“Bai Qi, is Bai Qi around?”

Shang Guang opened the door and in front of him, stood Qiu Sichuan’s little assistant.

The assistant was stunned when he saw Shang Guang and looked a little scared too.

Qiu Sichuan had been seriously washed up for the past two years.
So, they never had the chance to meet people around the big shots, someone like Xi-laoshi’s manager.

Shang Guang smiled and asked, “Yes? How can I help you?”

He couldn’t be here to ask for Bai Qi to cook for them again, right? He muttered in his heart.

They wouldn’t be leaving the crew soon although they finished filming the first episode.
They’ll be heading to the next filming stop after Xi-ge returns.

We’re not being filmed anymore, you can’t possibly expect Bai Qi to help you? Shang Guang thought.

Just then, Bai Qi raised his head and asked, “What’s going on?”

The assistant collected himself and smiled.
“Our Qiu-ge wants to invite you over to have some fun.”

“Coming, coming,” Bai Qi replied.

Soon, Bai Qi finished packing everything that he wanted to bring.
He also had a huge pot of tea in his hand when he left.

Shang Guang opened his mouth, then closed it.

Xi-ge had asked for A-Da and Little Lin to accompany Bai Qi, and now him.

But look, Bai Qi doesn’t need them at all!

Soon, Bai Qi was gone.

Shang Guang looked around the empty house.
He never thought that he would be the one who’d be left alone to guard this place.

He fished out his phone and decided to scroll through some online posts.
He also saved some pictures so he could send them to Xi Chengyun later.

The staff members of Xi Chengyun’s studio were going through the posts on Weibo too.

They noticed that Gao Rufei wasn’t the only one who mentioned Bai Qi on Weibo… Actually, every person that Bai Qi had mentioned who worked behind the scenes on ‘Ascending the Mountain’ was expressing their gratitude towards Bai Qi and Xi Chengyun.
Well, to be fair, it was more towards Bai Qi.

Liu Zhi, the makeup artist which Bai Qi mentioned, was extremely touched.

@specialeffectsLiuZhi: For an ordinary person, going to Court, especially regarding a copyright infringement issue that crossed international borders, is a really stressful thing.
I’ve spent three years on this, but with no conclusive result.
I’m very grateful that there are still people who remember me.
Thank you @onthewaytokillmonsters7 for mentioning me in the show.
Thank you to all those who came to comfort and encourage me after watching the show.
Thank you to the relevant professionals for lending me a helping hand…

There was a screenshot attached to Liu Zhi’s post.

It was a screenshot of a number of certified legal practitioners who DM-ed her to provide her with relevant legal advice and assistance.

The commenters under the post were shocked, to say the least.

【Woah, there are so many people here to help? Even Lawyer Ding is here! He’s handled many International Court cases!】

  【Poor Liu Zhi.
Dealing with such a shameless thief must be tormenting both her mental and financial well-being.
The makeup artist who stole her makeup look won half a million dollars from that competition.
Most likely, that person has spent it all by now】

【Wow, it was only supposed to be a couple’s reality show, and now we get to have all these positive vibes too? Haih, I did kinda feel like crying after reading her long post】

Exactly.
How many people would know about the ongoing legal battle this makeup artist was facing if no one brought it up? The staff members of Xi Chengyun’s studio thought.

However, the staff saw a few not-so-pleasant comments as they continued to scroll down.

【Do you really believe that Bai Qi is someone who’s so cultured, did his research, and knows about everything? It’s so obvious that Xi Chengyun was the one who told him about it.
If you want to thank someone, you should thank him instead.

  【Tsk.
This is all an act, he’s just riding on Xi Chengyun’s popularity】

Well, these people spoke at the wrong place and at the wrong time.

Most ‘popcorn eating’ netizens wouldn’t really bother if the news was simply about the latest celebrities’ gossip.
However, most of them would empathize with an ordinary person that was being bullied.

And clearly, most people couldn’t sit well with such negative comments.
