Footsteps of someone running could be heard throughout the entire place, in a white space, a little girl is running through the infinite number of bookshelves that filled that library.

This girl runs with confidence passing the infinite number of corridors, its like she knows that place with the palm of her hand.

Turning a corner the girl arrives in a room filled with books, unlike the books on the shelves these are on the floor.

In the middle of this space surrounded by a lot of books, there is a man, he is seated on the ground with a book in his hands, he is very focused.

The little girl goes to the man while avoiding the books on the ground.

”Grandpa, I want you to read for me, ” the little girl said putting a book in the mans face and disturbing him

”How many times have I said to not distract me while Im working ? ” the man says pushing the book away from his face.

”Pretty please grandpa, ” the little girl says making a cute face.

The man sighs and grabs the book, as soon as he passes his eye through the books title his expression changes.

”This book is not made for you ”

”But I want ” the girl begs but the man again refuses.

”Thats unfair, last time you said that you would read me anything, you promised ”

The man sighs and looks at the book again.

The Forgotten.

”I will read, but this is the last time I will read for you, ok ? ”

”Ok ” the girl agrees and seats at a pile of books

The man opens the books and starts to read to the girl.

”This history happened a long time ago, at a time when the universe has not yet stabilized when divine beings fought to maintain control of everything.

This book takes place on the first planet that god created, humans, elves, demons, giants, dwarfs, and every race lived there, but because of the mistake of an irresponsible person, a great danger was unleashed in this world.

And the protagonist and his companions were tasked to defeat this great danger.

This is a story about one of the mortals that were responsible for defeating the great danger.

The Creepy and cold voice stopped talking and my entire world changed.

When I opened my eyes I saw a huge flash of light, that for a moment prevented me from seeing anything.

I put my hands in front of my eyes and waited for my eyes to get used to the light.

While I could not entirely see I was capable of feeling, sand.

For some reason I was lying on a beach, I could feel the sand and hear the tide.

My eyes get used to the light and were now able to see.

A blue giant and beautiful ocean, the waves were so calm that anyone could sleep hearing this.

The sand is so fluffy and warm, for some reason don feel like real sand, its way more comfortable than sand.

And to complete there is a huge blue sky, infinite and beautiful, with a giant sun illuminating everything.

The suns rays instead of hot and burning, its warm, really warm.

I feel like Im getting a warm hug looking at the sun, is one the most relaxing feeling that I could ever feel.

Where Im?

Its all I could think of while enjoying that warm and relaxing beach.

My answer came quickly.

”This is your soul, ” a cold and gloomy voice said behind me.

Turning around I and greeted by the only being I didn want to see.

A body imbued in shadows, everything part of his body is covered in darkness, and the only thing I could see is his mouth.

And realizing that this was my soul I finally see it.

I thought that status would be something cooler, but anyway.

”And why are you here ? ” I ask

”I live here ”

That makes sense, I always asked myself how he was able to simply appear out of nowhere.

”So this is my soul, ” I said to myself while admiring the surroundings.

I never thought that my soul would look soo peaceful, but I should know, in each description of the book it said that the soul is the best place to relax and think.

And seeing for myself I agree with that affirmation.

”You finally made it, ” the shadow man said.

Yeah, I finally made it.

After long three years of many efforts and difficulties, I finally made it.

I have finally entered the path of a Called.

But…

”Not thanks to you, ” I said looking at the shadow.

He didn answer right away.

”If was not for me you would be dead a long time ago ”

”Would I ? ”

”You know that ”

The shadow turns silent and then out of thin air he disappears, leaving no trace behind.

And Im grateful for that, I don like to be in the presence of that guy, being near him makes me remember everything Ive done in the past.

And I don need that right now.

Right now I need to focus on the future, I can change the past, but I can change the future.

And thats why Im doing all of this.

Looking around at the space for some time I realized.

I don know how to leave.

Its my first time accessing my soul, and I don have anyone to teach me how to leave.

”You just have to concentrate, ” the shadow says appearing again.

This time he almost scared me, in fact he did, I just didn show it.

He always does this, he disappears out of nowhere and then reappears when Im not expecting.

And we always come to a disagreement.

He wants me to follow a path that I swear I would not walk again.

I always refuse, and he disappears.

But he always comes back.

”Concentrate, imagine you leaving, and then you leave ” he explained again.

I closed my eyes and imagined myself leaving my soul, it took some time, but I managed it.

I left my soul and I came back to reality.

I woke up in a dark forest, where the trees covered the sky, preventing the light to appear.

I quickly got up and took my cell phone.
