Monster Integration

My rapier clashed against the lance, and to my surprise, it did not explode into dust or even crack appear on it as I expected. I had not crashed against the energy lance but its own lance, and when I moved my rapier to stop the other lance, I again clashed against its own lance instead of the energy lance. 

It did not take me even a second to understand what type of attack it was; these hundreds of lances which I had thought to be energy lances, are not, instead they are a projection of its own weapon, and it would appear on their place any time and the formation on its lance is for that job.

This attack is extremely dangerous and complex that normal Master class Tyrants would not be able to perform it; the power, skills, and talent needed to do something like that is immense.

While I was defending against this extremely powerful attack, the snakeman had also again launched the attack, and this time, its attack was a lot more muted or could be said extremely muted.

It had seemed to have learned a lot from its previous attack, how I had sensed it the moment it had materialized deep under the marsh water that this time, it was completely invisible both to senses and the soul.

It had released some smoke-type attack which will infiltrate into one without one ’s knowledge before revealing itself at the right time.

This invisible smoke is extremely powerful; if it entered my body, even with the strength of my body and immunity I have, I would be seriously injured, others of my strength would be killed within a minute by its attack.

I was right about this snakeman; it is far more dangerous than the Bearman. I had mixed my soul sense with rule-bending power to detect an invisible attack, which I would not be able to detect if it had been just my soul sense, despite its power and purity it had got after getting refined by the art.

This is not an attack that snakeman could perform with its power; there is something else my soul sense is not that easy to evade, and if I am not wrong, it is definitely that crown artifact of its which is giving it a powerful layer of invisibility.

I did not react to the mist, acted as I did not discover it, and let it inside my armor before storing it into a secure formation; I wanted to see what these bastards could do.

TING TING TING

The snakeman is not acting alone; the Bearman also coordinating with it. As it launched this invisible poisonous smoke, the Bearman doubled the power of its attack and increased the power of its attacks continuously, so I remained focused on myself and acted like the smoke was infiltrating me.

I wanted them to believe that, let them think their plan is working.. It will help me land a strike at the perfect moment, and unlike them, I will not miss my chance when it comes.
