ou Wenyan nodded in agreement: “Pretty good-natured.”

It was almost as though they were laughing at NPCs.

Fang Qi suspected that the bigshots’ perspectives differed from a regular person’s.

The other players’ eyes swept over the three of them ill-naturedly, not knowing what they were up to.

Under such conditions, no one would have dared to join hands with others without reservations.
They barely had time to defend themselves, so how could they work together? Except for Shen Dongqing and his party of three, everyone was a lone wolf.
This group was obviously more threatening than others and would be regarded as the primary target to be eliminated by other players.

Fang Qi considered this viewpoint and was about to caution Shen Dongqing, but he didn’t realize Shen Dongqing had already gone to play.

“Brother Zhou?” Fang Qi could only turn to Zhou Wenyan.

“Got it,” Zhou Wenyan nodded lightly.

Fang Qi’s head was filled with question marks because he hadn’t said anything.

What did you ‘get’?

On second thought, Fang Qi believed that all he needed to do was lie down and win, and the instance would be done.
What was he so concerned about?

So, without hesitation, he headed straight to the gambling table to play.

Shen Dongqing’s luck was pretty good tonight.
He won three hands in a row and a large amount of chips.
The NPC guests at the same table as him were so agitated that they couldn’t speak.

Shen Dongqing battled in one location after another with a little basket full of chips, oblivious to the fiery gazes of others.

Perhaps Shen Dongqing appeared too silly and sweet.
After a while, a group of players gathered and approached him with malicious intent.

“Hey, Little Brother, your luck is pretty good.” A short-statured, sleazy-faced thin man pushed to Shen Dongqing’s side, pretending to be familiar.

Shen Dongqing didn’t even bother looking at him.
He only said “Mn.”

The slender man licked his lips as he looked greedily at Shen Dongqing’s small basket, which was half-full with chips: “You earned a lot, right?”

Shen Dongqing shifted his weight and drew the little basket away from the slim man.

“Hehe, Little Brother, how many games have you played?” asked the thin man, smiling.

Shen Dongqing took a bunch of chips, set them down, and said, “Not many games,” without thinking it through.

The skinny guy cast a glance at Shen Dongqing, who appeared fair and clean, with clear eyes, and realized at a glance that he was a young man who hadn’t experienced much.

He immediately felt confident: “But I’ve played a lot of games, and among them are a lot of B-level game instances, which are dangerous…”

Shen Dongqing: “So awesome.”

The thin guy: “Indeed.
But my life was hanging by a thread at the time, and I barely made it out alive.
Let this elder brother tell you something: you can’t trust your teammates too much.” He paused and said meaningfully, “You never know what they’ll do in a life-or-death crisis.”

Shen Dongqing simply nodded and said, “Oh.”

“Have you ever played a B-level game instance?” the skinny man persisted.

Shen Dongqing actually considered it thoroughly: “No.”

In fact, he didn’t recall much.
After all, a B-level game instance seemed quite straightforward to him, with nothing particularly impressive.

The thin guy: “Oh, is that so; then what about your friends?”

Shen Dongqing: “I don’t think so.”

After all, Fang Qi appeared to be really weak, and he(SDQ) assumed that he had not played many game instances.

What else could the slim man say? Shen Dongqing was already antsy.
The dealer had just opened the result he had been waiting for so he carried the small basket and directly left, leaving the slender man alone.

The thin man squinted at Shen Dongqing’s back, walked away from the gambling table, turned around, and joined a group.
The gang gathered around and bowed their heads to talk about something, occasionally glancing up at Shen Dongqing.

“Yeah, that’s right, he’s a novice.”

“The other two don’t look like old players either.”

“He’s holding a lot of chips.
When the time comes, we’ll deal with him first, then divide and conquer.”

“Hehe, when will that be?”

“That depends on our abilities.”

Shen Dongqing, who was holding a little basket, was watching the dealer deal cards, entirely ignorant that someone was planning to steal his chips.

Even if he did know, he probably wouldn’t take it seriously.

Shen Dongqing was having a good time when Zhou Wenyan appeared out of nowhere.

“What?” Shen Dongqing turned and looked at him.

He might have been having too much fun.
His cheeks were slightly flushed, like a rosy peach in snow, the freshness of which made others want to bite.

Zhou Wenyan thought so and did so.
He leaned in and kissed Shen Dongqing on the cheek before whispering, “Let’s go out first.”

Shen Dongqing took the chips and asked, “What’s wrong?”

“Give others an opportunity,” Zhou Wenyan said softly as he held his shoulder.

Shen Dongqing: “What opportunity?”

Zhou Wenyan: “You’ll know when we go out.”

He soon understood what the opportunity was.

A group of players approached them as soon as they came out of the casino’s entrance, and the leader was the slim guy who had come over to talk just minutes before.

The thin man smiled maliciously as he rolled up his sleeves: “Hand over your chips, Little Brother, and we won’t make things hard for you.
Otherwise, don’t blame us for not showing mercy.”

Shen Dongqing: “?”

The skinny man spotted Shen Dongqing’s perplexed expression and concluded he was a newbie, so he was even more unscrupulous: “We’re being nice right now, but if you make us wait, we might not be.
Don’t make us force you to mortgage something.”

Shen Dongqing blinked his eyes in disbelief and inquired, “Are you guys robbing?”

The slim man and his companions, who had temporarily teamed up, exchanged glances.

They’d already blocked his route with the clear goal of robbing, but he couldn’t tell.
Was he a moron?

“Bah! It doesn’t matter if he’s a fool or not; just grab him,” someone said.

The group of players approached step by step, each holding a different weapon.

The casino’s security guards and personnel were watching the show indifferently this time, and they had no intention of intervening.
They even gloated in the duo’s predicament, eagerly anticipating the players’ to fight more viciously.

“Hold on!” Shen Dongqing stopped them.

The thin man stopped and asked: “Why, have you changed your mind?”

Shen Dongqing gave a nod.

“Then hand over the chips,” the slim man said, smiling smugly.

Shen Dongqing lifted the small basket in his hand.
He turned around and handed the basket to a staff member standing at the side, just as the thin man assumed he was going to hand over all the chips.

He was also very polite: “Hello, please hold this for me.”

The staff member took the basket and nodded.

Other players perceived this gesture as Shen Dongqing’s plan to seek assistance from the casino’s bouncers. “When you die, these chips will have no owner, and we can still take them,” the thin guy stated sullenly.

Shen Dongqing expressed his understanding before adding: “Guys, yes, you fellows, hand over the chips, and I won’t make things difficult for you.
Otherwise, don’t blame me for not showing mercy.”

The other players froze for a second before bursting out laughing.
Some players laughed so hard that their tummies hurt.

“What did he say?”

“To hand over our chips, hahaha…”

“Looks like he’s really a fool.”

Shen Dongqing stood there and said solemnly: “I’m being nice right now, but if you make me wait, I might not be.”

This sentence elicited another round of guffaws from the other players.

They’d all forgotten why they’d come and were only thinking about how stupid this young man was, so stupid that he made people laugh.
However, it was more likely that they had long regarded Shen Dongqing’s chips as their personal property, and hence were not in a rush.

“Do you want to say anything else?”

“Do you want to learn more about how to talk like us?”

“Hahaha, please learn; I’d want to hear it.”

Shen Dongqing: “Okay, I’m done.”

The voice stopped, and the players, who were still clutching their bellies and laughing loudly, watched a figure run over and instantly mow down the slender man in front of them to the ground.
Before the people behind him could react, they were smacked in the abdomen with a fist.

“Ah—”

Someone finally reacted after the players all toppled over in quick succession.
This was not a little white rabbit, but a genuine large tiger!

A couple of players burst into a sprint and ran, but after a few feet, they saw a man emerge.

Zhou Wenyan rested against the wall, arms folded, raising his eyelids to gaze at the players.

The fleeing players exchanged glances.

This one didn’t seem too violent, so go ahead!

Then they followed in their brothers’ footsteps and rolled on the ground in agony.

The players that were standing here moments ago were all on the ground.

When Fang Qi noticed that the two bosses were missing, he stealthily opened the door, came out, turned around, and saw such a scene.

He was stunned for a moment, and his first reaction was: “You’re robbing again?”

Shen Dongqing: “No, no, I am a good person who abides by the law.”

Hearing this made the spots where the players had been beaten up hurt even more.

Fang Qi thought it was absolutely absurd to say this under these conditions.

Seeing that he didn’t believe it, Shen Dongqing hurriedly explained, “I was defending myself!”

Fang Qi understood.

This gang of unfortunate players undoubtedly saw Shen Dongqing’s silly and sweet appearance and wanted to rob him, but needless to say, they all ended up on the ground.

Shen Dongqing requested the return of his small basket, kicked the player who rolled to his side, and gave Fang Qi a “you know” look.

Fang Qi seemed to understand.
In any event, this gang had arrived to rob.
“Whoever robs will be robbed in the end,” he chanted.
Then, without hesitation, he pried open the clothes of the player closest to him and extracted all of his chips.

While standing there, Shen Dongqing questioned, “Who said this?”

Fang Qi: “I adapted it myself.”

This group of players was loaded with chips.
Shen Dongqing’s small basket was not only full, but the chips created a small mound when they frisked them one by one and took their chips.

Fang Qi, who was squatting on the ground, raised his head: “How many do we have?”

“There should be three thousand,” Shen Dongqing said, picking up a chip that was about to roll away.

“I didn’t expect there to be so many,” Fang Qi said, thinking he was still dreaming.

He estimated that it would take another four or five days to win 3000 chips.
He hadn’t expected it to happen so soon.

Shen Dongqing pursed his lips and a small dimple appeared on his cheek: “I have to thank them.”

The thin guy was already in so much pain that he didn’t want to live, and now that he’d heard Shen Dongqing’s words, he just wanted to die on the spot.

They expected to rob a simple and naïve little white rabbit.
They didn’t expect to find a bigshot hidden within as soon as the skin was ripped off.
They not only did not steal his chips, but they also lost their own.

Fang Qi sighed: “Every time I team up with Brother Shen and Brother Zhou, it’s so easy to clear the instance.”

Shen Dongqing: “Actually, I don’t want to.”

He sighed sadly: “It’s no fun at all.”

Shen Dongqing was determined not to rob again.

He had intended to work hard in order to win 3000 chips at the gambling table.
He’d just won a few hundred chips, and he had no idea that the rest would be delivered to his door at this point.
He’d feel embarrassed if he didn’t rob it.

Really! It interfered with his game experience.

The players lying on the ground tried to weep but failed to shed a tear.
