”Oh?Is the class over already? ”Mrs Kichup closed the work book she was holding. ”Alright class,its the end of this lesson.You may leave. ”Ivan blinked,Ah,is it over already? he thought to himself.He was really enjoying the lesson.As he stood up,he noticed that every one was leaving in an orderly and quiet manner.You would think that children their age would be more lively.

He frowned in suspicion.This place is really no joke!,What did they do to make kids behave like that!? he thought suspiciously.He was about to walk through the door way when Mrs Kichup called him to stop.He stopped and turned around in confusion. ”Colin,come here ”Ivan blinked,before Colin walked towards her from beside him.Huh,I didn even realize he was beside me!,Ivan watched as the two talked for awhile before Mrs Kichup finally let them leave.

They were walking through the quiet hallways when Colin finally decided to speak. ”Hi,Im Colin ” Ivan looked towards him ”Nice to meet you,Im Ivan ”.An awkward silence fell over them as they continued to walk.Ivan was a little behind Colin as he was following him.He was also trying his best to memorize where they were going as to not get lost in the future. ”Sooooo… ”Ivan looked towards him yet again. ”Your in my group ” ”Group? ” ”Oh!I forgot that you were new! ”.

”Let me explain,When new kids come here they go to the class of their age .So if you
e 14 you go to the third year and so on.Each year has three classes to accommodate a large quantity of students. ”Seeing Ivans confused look Colin continued to explain. ”Its like this,there are three different third year classes,and all the the other classes have them too. ” finally getting it Ivan nodded in understanding.

”Other wise from that,each class is split into groups of six.My group was five before because there was no one to fill in the sixth place.Well,untill you came along .I-I don mean that in a bad way! ”Ivan shook his head ”Its fine ”. ”R-really!?I-I really wasn- ”Colin was cut off by loud chattering.They were now infront of two large sky blue double doors.

”This is the cafeteria ” Colin said as he pushed open the doors.At first no one noticed them but soon enough gasps began to echo around the cafeteria as multiple eyes began to turn towards them.They were all looking at Ivan curiously.Though a few moments after they got in line everyone began to go back to what they where doing and the atmosphere turned back to normal.

While waiting and looking around,Ivan decided to ask a question. ”Why were the corridors so quiet and the cafeteria so loud? ”he said shouting a little over the multiple loud voices.Colin noticing this stepped back a little so that Ivan didn have to strain his voice. ”If the teachers or instructors catch you idling you will be punished.You can only act carefree in the cafeteria. ” ”How do they punish you? ”. ”Like 1000 push ups and so on and if your really unlucky ,you go to the … room. ”Colin whispered the word silently to him as if to avoid anyone hearing it.Ivan gulped silently, whatever the room was he didn want to go there!

Taking up the tray that was handed to him by the lunch lady,Ivan turned towards Colin who was waiting for him at the side.Colin motioned him to follow him and the two of them made their way to a table.As Ivan sat down he looked around the table.Their were four other people sitting down and was looking at him curiously. ”Hey Colin, who is this? ” asked a black haired boy. ”Let me introduce you guys. ” Colin said,as he too sat down.

”This is Nicholas ” he said as he pointed towards the black haired boy, ”Nice to meet you. ”. ”He came here two months before you,and she- ”Colin now pointed towards a brown haired girl who waved at him. ”Shes Daniella,she came four months before you. ”Colin now turned towards a short blonde haired boy with glasses ”Hes Noah and the buff girl beside him is Jasmine.They came here before all of us,when the new semester started. ” .Ivan waved towards them and Jasmine nodded back while Noah gave a tiny wave back.

”And this ” Colin now motioned towards Ivan , ”Hes our new member,hes new here. ”. ”Obviously,I never saw him before.Nice to meet you Ivan,I hope we can become friends in the future. ” Jasmine said to Ivan.Ivan nodded at her ”I hope so too. ”. ”So Ivan ,are you strong? ” Jasmine asked with a bit of fire in her eyes.Daniella rolled her eyes ”Here she goes again ,just eat your food! ” Jasmine gave her a confused look, ”Was there something wrong with what I said? ”.

”Not everyone is a battle maniac like you! ”

”Whats wrong in a battle of a test of strength? ”

”Look at him! ”Daniella pointed towards Ivan who was observing his food interest. ”You would probably kill the poor thing in your battle of strength! ”

As they continued to bicker Ivan smiled a little.He had never had such… good company.Turning back to his food he continued to observe it. Apparently this worlds food was made from beasts.As all normal animals became beasts.Taking up a piece of meat, he brought it towards his mouth to take a bite.He should really read up on this worlds history whenever he got the chance.He chewed into the piece of meat experimentally,he then suddenly froze.

Colin noticing his lack of movement turned towards him, ”You alright? ”.

”Heh? ”

”Its so good! ”Ivan then hurriedly dove in for another bite.He had never eaten such good, tasty food in all his life!
