THE FALLEN HERO ( R-18 )

Kevin was now standing at the entrance gate, he had arrived a few minutes before the given time.

He was in a happy mood as he had gotten the items necessary to carry out the plan. Even though it made him roam in the black market while wearing a silly mask to protect his identity and costed him almost all the remaining money that the previous Kevin had, but he was sure that all his hardwork would pay off on this journey.

He was sure that by the end of this journey, he would have a walking treasury under his dic.. Ahem.. control. He didn have to wait for long to see a luxurious looking carriage surrounded by four horse riding soldiers approaching toward him.

Kevin bowed to show his respect as the carraige stopped in front of him. One of the two guards in the front who looked like the leader spoke in an arrogant tone.

” Go sit with the coachman and make sure to not cause any trouble. ”

Kevin respectfully nodded and then sat with the coachman.

Just as kevin sat, he heard a beautiful voice which was filled to the brim with arrogance.

” You better not do anything which might cause my reputation to lower otherwise you will not even know how you died. Do you understand, you peasant? ”

Kevin was not surprised as he had already expected something like this to happen. Everyone in the Clayton family knew that as the only child of the clan head, Emily Clayton was spoiled ever since she was little. She was the perfect example of what a spoiled little brat would look like.

Although she had a beautiful face along with a beautiful figure, it all paled in comparison to her black heart.

Kevin knew that she was doing all this to remind him that he was nothing in front of her. He knew exactly what would satisfy her.

”Y-yes Y-young Miss ” Kevin replied as if he was really frightened by her threat.

Emily didn speak again and the carriage started moving.

The journey was going to take atleast two weeks because the pace was slowed down to ensure Emilys comfort. The only way to reach the Royal Academy from Claytons house was to cross a 7 days long forest but as it was devoid of any strong demonic beasts, it was a relatively safe path.

Kevin had already taken a look at the powers of everyone traveling with him. The leader of the guards was an initial 2nd circle mage, the other three were late 1st circle mage and Emily was a middle 1st sircle mage.

Kevin just need them to drop their guard around him and it will be an easy victory for him.

As there weren any inns or any shop in the forest, the guards had already stored enough ration and a few foldable sleeping tents inside their spatial rings.

For the next 4 days kevin behaved like a devoted servent as he took the job to cook food for everyone willingly and even set up the tents for everyone.

The the guards and the princess believed that kevin was only doing what a servant should do but the leader of the guards was still suspicious but after observing kevin for 4 days, he also started believing in him.

Kevin didn completely waste these four days as he looked at every item in the system shop and checked all the available functions.

On the evening of the 5th day kevin as usual set up the tents and was preparing meal for everyone.

Emily was resting in the largest and most luxurious looking tent and two guards were resting in their respective tents while the other two were on the lookout for any danger.

Kevin smiled devilishly as he noticed no one was paying any attention to him.

Its time to show Emily where she truly belongs.

It was time to secure the beautiful treasury of the Claytons house.

Kevin opened the system shop to get the required items.

The mana restriction potion would prevent the target from using mana for 1 hour and the Paralyzing potion would paralyze them for 1 hour. Both the potion were devoid of any smell or color, so they were almost impossible to detect.

The tier 1 potion would be effective against any 1st Circled mage and tier 2 potion would be effective against any 2nd circled mage.

Kevin had initially planned to consume a potion that would neutralize the effect of the these potion in case he failed to remove the guards suspension but it wasn necessary as they were very cautious.

Both the tier 1 potion would start showing its effect after 15 seconds, while the tier 2 would take 25 seconds.

The only problem if the leader of the guards would have 10 seconds to come after kevin or send a message for backup through a messaging crystal. But kevin also had a plan for that.

Kevin slowly went behind a nearby tree and took out the two items that had brought from the black market.

One was a Communication disrupting formation and other was a sound concealing formation. Both were only a single usage formation. The former would not any form of communication through messaging crystals and the latter would not allow any sound to escape from the effective area for 3 hours.

The former was to prevent any call for backup and latter was to make sure that no demonic beast would interfere in his plan.

After silently activating the formation, Kevin went back to prepare the meal. Soon he informed everyone that the food is ready. Emily who would as usual eat in her tent, the four guards would eat together while kevin would eat alone and the coachman would eat after everyone.

Kevin then served the meal to all of them but not before adding the potions to their respective meals.

After serving meals to everyone, he sat back at his usual place while everyone waited for Emilys permission to eat.

” You can eat. ” Emily spoke in her usual arrogant voice and everyone started eating their meals.

Kevin also ate his meal but he was finding it hard to prevent a smile from forming on his face.

Exactly after 10 seconds kevin slowly stood up while holding his throat and the guards turned to look at him. Just as Kevin met their eyes he held out one of his hands as if asking for help and then suddenly collapsed on the ground.

The leader of the guards stood up to check on kevin but suddenly his 3 companions also collapsed.
