However, Yu Shu was quick to glare at the teacher.
“The event states that any student who had arrived at the premises even a second late from two o’clock will be barred from entry,” she snapped.
“Besides, she obviously doesn’t care much about the exam to have arrived this late!”

“This student probably thinks she could just waltz in and take what she wants, well, I’m here to tell her that she can’t!”

It’s already two o’clock.
What proof do you have that states you weren’t?”

“Students these days are really willing to lie about anything just to get what they want.”

The other invigilators were already convinced by this matter as they nodded, crossing their arms over their chests.
They glared at the newcomer.

Yao Tang ignored her words and stared at the clock.
“The clock is broken,” she said casually.

Hearing this, Yao Ran stifled a scoff.

Saying that the clock was broken meant that she was questioning the invigilators themselves.
Walking through that line of questioning was like stepping over a minefield—something that shouldn’t be done.

“The clock is broken?” Yu Shu sputtered in outrage.
