 True, since I’m the one who perfected magic heavy machinery.
The base was my master’s technique, and of course I was only able to perfect these heavy machines because the founder had established and developed his skills as a magic architect.

It’s just that the difference in ability between a reverberatory furnace and a magic reverberatory furnace is completely apart.

 The moles look fed up with all the other dwarves’ jeers flying about.
Marbo and Iseki are swinging their arms like they’re retorting “What, huh!”.

Sure it looks hot, but that magma’s heat is way too weak to work with.” (Wirk)
 
 I told the dwarves my thoughts.
Then, other than Jay, the dwarves looked at each other before bursting out in laughter.
 
 ”Oi, oi, did he just say the magma isn’t hot enough?”
 ”Does he have air collecting in that head of his?”
 ”Oi, oi, does that bright red, boiling lava look nice and cool to you humans?”
 
 No, I didn’t say it wasn’t hot.
I think you misunderstood that part.
I’m worried about Jay who hasn’t said anything, but I’ll give a brief explanation.

 When I said as much, the other dwarves looked at one another.
On the other hand, Jay’s look was sharp.
 
 ”On the other hand, the melting point of iron is 1538 degrees.
That magma is certainly special and hotter than ordinary lava, but it’s still too weak to melt iron.
If you use a reverberatory furnace, the temperature rises above 2000 degrees.
If you want to get better at making weapons and armour, then you’d need at least that much heat.” (Wirk)
 
 It takes too long for iron to melt with heat at the level of magma’s.
If it takes too long to melt, the bond with the mana will deteriorate and the purity will be affected.
As a result, half-baked goods like those end up mass-produced.
 But then, the fact that they can make a half-baked but adequate goods despite wrongly using magma like that, is largely thanks to the dwarves’ techniques.
 
 ”— I see.
I understand what you’re saying.
In other words, the furnace which we’ve been obsessed with uses magma, but it’s useless because the heat isn’t enough.
But the reverberatory furnace you brought is more practical and better than our furnace that uses magma, is that what you’re saying?” (Jay)

 I answered so, but Jay’s way of talking looked weird to me, which bothered me.
Besides, if you knew about reverberatory furnaces, then why use that magma one?
 Did he really think that magma was more practical, that is, that its temperature was high?

 The dwarves are shouting.
However, the way they’re saying it is bothering me.
I get the feeling the dwarves are blindly following whatever Jay decides.
 I get the feeling that some among them are in a hurry.
Maybe some of them have noticed.

 And then what surprised me was that Jay readily acknowledged the problem.

I still don’t trust magic architects.
They only look at techniques and don’t understand the true nature of things.
To me, it’s even more ridiculous that you’re so proud of that ordinary reverberatory furnace you brought!” (Jay)
 
 However, sure enough, he didn’t just stop at obediently admitting it.
I didn’t think he’d instead retort like that.
 It’s just, if there’s one thing I can say, is that this isn’t just some ordinary reverberatory furnace, you know…
