We finish our preparations and head towards the Royal Capital’s gate, and over there

is a gate that’s although isn’t to the extent of a fortress, is five meters in height.
It probably won’t get broken through that easily.

A Dragon that probably reaches 50 meters if I include its entire body is there.

Furthermore, it’s not an ordinary Dragon; it has a total of 9 heads growing from its body.
If I’m not wrong, a Hydra, was it.
Additionally, it appears quite decayed and is covered in wounds here and there.
It’s the Dragon Zombie of a Hydra huh.

If you leave a living creature’s corpse as it is, there are cases where Magic Power gathers at that corpse and turns it into an undead, but there’s no way a Dragon of that level is left as it is until it turns into an undead huh.
It would normally be eaten.

“Wha, what’s with that monster……”

“We, we can’t win against that!”

“I, I don’t wanna die!”

Furthermore, there are even those on this side who lost their fighting spirit just from seeing the Hydra.
Well, I guess I can’t blame them huh.
Even an ordinary Dragon requires several B or A Rank Class Adventures.

And yet, the opponent is a unique Dragon that’s above that.
It’s probably up there with an Ancient Dragon in terms of capability.
Even the King is making a difficult look.
It appears that unrest is spreading amongst the soldiers as well.
What are we going to do about this.

A single carriage approaches the Royal Capital as I’m thinking about that.
And then the one who alighted was Grutas.
The men who were also there at the hall are following beside him.
Behind him is about 100 soldiers.

I have instructed the Zombie Hydrato initiate attack the moment you guys attack.
Don’t make the wrong decision, Raymond”

Grutas says and laughs, ‘KuKuKu’.
It pisses me off, but it’s meaningless to jump him here.

“This voice, I have made it so that the residents in the Royal Capital can hear as well.
Listen, Raymond Nanor! I have but one demand.
Relinquish the throne! If not, I will immediately move the Zombie Hydra, and the Royal Capital will become rubbles!
Fellow soldiers and Adventurers! If you bring Raymond’s head to me now, I shall make you my direct subordinate! Now then, what will you do!? Will you relinquish your throne, will you be killed by your allies, or will the entire Royal Capital die altogether, choose!”

Killing intent rose in the vicinity the moment Grutas said that.
The soldiers are standing in a way that they protect the King, and the Adventurers are wavering.
But amongst the Adventurers, there are also some who place their hands on their weapons, and they’re looking in the direction of the King.

It’ll be bad if it carries on like this!, I thought, and when I was about to say, I’ll stop them!

“It’s somehow turned into something troublesome huh”

I heard a carefree voice.
Everybody above the gate turns to the direction of the voice and over there

“Shishou!? Why are you here!?”

That’s right, Shishou, who should have gone to the Forest Falia Kingdom, was standing there.
The King, Alexia, and the others, who were told that are surprised as well.

“Nn? Isn’t it a given that I would be.
I can’t be leaving for long when the country I’m living in is about to go to war soon.
That’s why I came back immediately”

Perhaps the Adventurers also found hope from the fact that Shishou showed up, the precarious atmosphere just now also diminished.

Amongst the Adventurers, rather than someone like me, the ‘Sword Saint’ is more famous.

Saying that; Shishou goes to the ledge above the gate and stands in a way that she’s visible even to Grutas.
And then she activates Wind Magic

“Quickly bring it on if you’re going to come, laddy Grutas! I’ll make you cry like when you’re young!”

“Wha! Sylphide! Wh, why are you here!? N, no, more importantly, that’s because you hit me over and over again with a wooden sword!”

“It’s a given since it’s training, isn’t it.
So what will you do?”

“Tsk! I’ll erase you altogether!”

Saying that; Grutas boards the carriage and returns. Shishou, who sent him off, returned to where everybody is

“What are you standing there idly for! Hurry up and get ready for war!”

and yelled.
The Adventurers that were nearby, their legs ended up giving in at her overwhelmingly angry voice.
……anybody would end up that way if they were yelled at that closely.

However, perhaps it was effective, the wavering soldiers and Adventurers started scurrying.
As expected of Shishou.
It probably won’t go this well even if I did the same thing.
……please calm down, King.
You don’t have to transport the items.

As I was looking at everybody, Shishou came to my side.
And then she directs her eyes in the way that Grutas went, the direction where the Zombie Hydra is.

Shishou said that she has been serving as the swordsmanship instructor for the royal family for generations, so she probably taught Grutas as well.
Maybe she some thoughts about it.

“Well, I guess I have to teach him a lesson since he ended up doing it.
I’ll have Lei help out with it as well.
That Hydra is slightly troublesome”

For such words to actually come out from that Shishou of mine.
When I ask, and Shishou was about to answer

“Good grief.
I didn’t intend to participate if it’s a dispute between humans, but if it involves the Dragon Race, and on top of that, if it concerns that fellow, then there’s no way I can not participate huh”

“Fufu.
Even though you say such things, you’re actually worried about Lei-kun”

“Wha, what are you saying, Hilde! I’m not particularly worried about that youngster or anything.
We, well, Eclat will be sad is that youngster is gone, so I’m only just a little, really just a tiny bit worried”

, Levine-san and Hilde-san, came along while talking amongst themselves.
I wonder why is it that he came even though he was saying that he won’t come to a dispute between humans?

Shishou, Levine-san, and Hilde-san are talking like they have an understanding, but I don’t understand anything at all.
I wish they’d explain to me as well.

According to Levine-san, it seems he’s proficient at using corpses to create undead.
Besides that, he’s also able to do things like combining fellow undead to create new monsters.
It appears that that Zombie Hydra is also one of it.

It seems that in the past, because of that Demon General, the number of casualties also increased.
It looks like he can increase his numbers infinitely as long as his opponent has corpses; like whenever the soldiers on this side collapse, the undead on the other side increases.
That’s annoying.

“That’s why I’ll lend a hand as well this time around”

“In that case, I guess I’ll get serious as well”

……I pity Grutas just a tiny bit.
Well, I’ll go at it seriously as well though.
