The deer staggered to the side before falling down without any signs of life.

Malcolm lowered his gun and nodded, ’ ’That was the last one. ’ ’

’ ’Good job. ’ ’ Leonardo patted his shoulder and walked with him to the corpse of the deer.

’ ’I guess this was it. ’ ’ Charles grabbed his backpack and took out a small plastic box.

The plastic box was filled with sandwiches. He opened the cover and took a bite of the first sandwich he got his hands on.

Bentley rubbed his cold hands, trying to warm them up, ’ ’That was the last hunt for today. Was it fun? ’ ’

He asked while looking straight at Isaac.

’ ’Yes, it was. ’ ’ Without noticing, seven hours had already passed. After checking out the clock, Isaac was surprised and disappointed, knowing they had to leave before the forest got dark.

Charles swallowed the sandwich and wiped his lips with a napkin. Once he was done, he glanced at Isaac and asked.

’ ’Young one, what are you planning on doing after you return? ’ ’
